Storytellers, giveaways and the best commercial ever...

Nothing like a mid-Tuesday recap of things to come.

And I am staying clear of any trial talk, not even going to touch that one.

So, first and foremost, this weekend (July 8-10th) will be a revival of the Storytellers Blog Hop!!! Yeeaah, just try and hold back your excitment :) The hop will open on Friday morning and run all weekend long.

New to TGN and curious about the Storytellers Hop?!

It's easy, just link up and don't worry about writing anything special.  Show off your great blog (your newest/favorite/best post) and let it be who it is!
Check out older hops by clicking on the Storytellers icon on the right hand side

You guessed it, there is a teeninsy catch. Only. One. Rule. Please, no sites that specialize in ads, coupons, giveaways, etc. There are many blog hops just for you, but today, this hop isn't one of them. Sorry guys.

Other than that, there are no rules, no 'follow' musts, only an easy outlet to stumble upon new and interesting blogs.
PLUS there are always great new reads to be found. Hopefully see you here this weekend!

Secondly, have you heard about FTLOB Summer Bash Giveaway a Day?!?! If not, you have to jump over and check out all the fun stuff they are doing this month.

Ohhh, and I might add that I am participating and giving away a very special TGN prize on July 17th....my birthday!! I figured, that if I get to be spoiled on that day (are you reading this, hubs?! :)), then one of my lucky readers gets to be spoiled too.

More details on that to come!

And third, I totally meant to post this last week when we first arrived in Canada. This video is awesome. Take my word for it, and watch the most effective political campaign I have seen in a long time. Thank you for that, Canada. This would never fly in the US!

I would definitely vote for him based on this commercial. If someone hates him this much, he must be good.

Want to hear the best part about it all??? HE STILL GOT RE-ELECTED. Booya. Gotta love it.

Have a very nice Tuesday, bloggyland.

  1. Hahahahahahahah!!!!!! That camapign is just AMAZING!!
'He kicks children in the face...' It's said so dramatic yet matter of fact!! GO SAM KATZ!

  2. That commercial is hilarious. So excited for your bloghop this weekend.

  3. You know what political spin is like, Katz's people will put out the story that he was brutally head butted in the foot by a crazed soccer player!!! Happy belated 4th of July.

  4. YAY! Love the Storyteller's Hop! Can't wait :)

Oh, and that ad is hilarious...unfortunately, that's really what those campaign ads have become. Ugh, politics.

  5. "he kicks children in the face." why is real life always better than fiction?

  6. Already got my Storyteller button up...no way I'm forgetting this time!!

Ha! Love that. Sam Katz is a tool. Obviously. I love how you find that kind of stuff...Are you some sort of internet surfer superhero or something?? Lol!

  7. YAY for the bloghop! And yes, that commercial rules- I would probably vote for him too!

  8. OMG! That commercial was priceless! He can come kick my neighbor kid in the face as much as he wants, I'd elect him Mayor for sure!!

  9. I really do love Storytellers Hop because it's not about adding numbers to your follower list (well not primarily so) and I get to read interesting stuff.
I jumped a little when i saw my drawing in the "You Might Also Like" section :P Random, but it made me happy :D

Oh and thanks for the reminder on the giveaway!

  10. Hmmm... methinks you need to let me know what your location for the next few weeks shall be so that I may send you a birthday present, since it's TWO DAYS AFTER MINE! And same day as Kiddo's, FOR THE WIN!

And why did that kid smash his face into that poor man's foot? He'll never walk the same again.

  11. "Paid for by concerned pediatric orthodontists" was definitely my favorite part. ridiculous!

  12. Hahahahah! "He kicks children in the face".... said totally seriously as if that wasn't an accident. Awesome!

  13. @Missy - I know, right?! Haha, way to go Sam. That kid probably deserved it. Oh yeah, I went there, lol

@Shalyn - yes, glad you want to join in! Me too, vote is totally with him.
@Miss Allie - haha, that is hilarious, Allie. Too funny!
@TriGirl - exactly! And there really aren't too many out there that are like that. You are too sweet. haha, awesome, glad it popped up there, lol
@Mollie - WHAT?!? Are we new online bffs?! July birthdays are the best. :) Too cool! I know, poor man's foot. He is probably crippled now :(

@Come At Me Bro - love your name here! THanks!
@Sabrina - sooo on purpose, of course, haha. Unreal.

Whoomp, there it is!
